PegMan’s Comments: The essential Chapin album with 12 of his greatest hits. For those unfamiliar with Harry Chapin, he is without doubt one of the greatest singer-songwriters of all time and is in this writer’s humble opinion, the greatest storyteller of all time. His melodic simplistic style has never been equalled and like so many of the Greats, was taken from us long before his time.
Before there was Bob Geldof & Bono, etc., there was Harry Chapin urging all to “Do one for the ‘other’ guy”. He was posthumously awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor for his Humanitarian efforts.
